The schools mentioned on our website are all independent from RITMA Association. We recognize their training as they meet RITMA's strict criteria.
Nevertheless, other trainings from other institutions could be recognized. Please contact us for more information.
Taking training (full or continuing) does not necessarily authorize using all aspects of it as a therapist. Certain acts are governed by professional orders and the Medical Law. You are invited to read it on their sites.
Government Recognized - Cautionary Note
When a private school displays: government recognized, it is important to understand this designation.
The fact of mentioning being recognized by Revenue Canada and Revenue Quebec means that the tuition fees are eligible for a tax credit. It is strictly a tax designation. It means that the institution has a permit to teach, but the training is not evaluated. The same goes for the Ministry of Education recognition. Most private schools are not recognized by the MEES. It is important to know.
